I’M LIZZY LIZ, CEO OF LITTY COMMITTEE

I’m so glad we found each other! I can’t wait to learn more about you and your wedding. First, let me tell you a little about myself. Weddings have always been my jam. Well, kind of.

Born and raised in Santa Ana, CA, #IYKYK. With not much money in our pockets, my family and I were pretty super conservative with spending. We didn’t get to celebrate much, not even birthdays or other milestones. Yet, weddings were always a huge thing in our family and always a reason to bring us together. 

We’d all meet at our aunt’s house and brainstorm before heading to the flower market in LA to shop for flowers. Then, all of the little cousins prepped the flowers while our older cousins put together the floral arrangements. 

I guess, naturally, I grew up to make up for that missing piece in my life…until it became my own path in life.

As a senior in high school, I became a venue manager for an all-inclusive property close to home. We did floral design, planning, catering — you name it! I figured out how to stretch a dollar, so my clients would get the dream weddings they envisioned. Over my 12 years there, I learned every angle of the wedding business and I loved it.

But, I thought it was a temporary gig and decided to carry on with my original plan to get a Master’s in healthcare administration. (I know, I know – talk about a 180!)

To ward off the FOMO, I took on a few events for fun — like a side hustle, you know? It would help to pay tuition and keep me immersed in the fun, yadda yadda. Well, wouldn’t you know that I booked 30 weddings that first year? I made the very easy decision to leave the Master’s program, and that’s how Lizzy Liz Events was born.

And guess what? I haven’t looked back since. 

Today, I have 20 years of experience planning weddings and it’s been the most fulfilling life path.

I live and breathe weddings and I wouldn’t change a thing. It’s my greatest passion to give couples the wedding day of a lifetime and I love every moment of it — from the creative planning meetings to the ratchet after parties,

I’m all about it. 

I’ll be there filling up your cup—literally and proverbially—every step of the way and I wouldn’t have it any other way. At Lizzy Liz Events, you’ll always be treated to the five-star treatment because, in my book, you’re a lifelong VIP in this house.
